The Board of Trustees heard several public comments on a variety of topics, including the Public Hearing scheduled for January 31, 2024, the proposed Budget Augmentation; the proposed template for the anticipated General Manager employment contract, the proposed service agreement with RubinBrown LLP. for forensic audit services, and the FlashVote survey results.

The Board of Trustees unanimously approved the Consent Calendar.

Mr. Kevin Lyons, of Governance Sciences Group, provided the Board and community with a presentation on the FlashVote priorities survey.

He started with a brief explanation of the survey process and the background of the FlashVote survey. He went over how people can receive and take the community surveys. Individuals can receive the survey by email and text.
He then began the presentation of the FlashVote priorities survey briefly reviewed the results and showed the board and the community how to review the results in different ways. The survey was open for 48 hours.
Mr. Lyons provided directions on how to use the sampling to review and find information from each of the survey questions. He showed how to filter through the questions to find out what is important to a specific group or demographic.

The Board of Trustees provided Director of Human Resources Erin Feore with some modifications and redlines to the Template for the anticipated District General Manager's employment contract. The Trustees ultimately approved the template contract with suggested changes.

Trustees also provided some modifications to the contract with Best, Best, and Krieger LLP., and approved the modified agreement for legal services; for a period of January 1, 2024, through December 31, 2026.

Trustee Raymond Tulloch informed the community that he would be at Diamond Peak to ski at 9:30 on Tuesday, January 30, 2024.

He also updated the board on the Incline Beach House team meeting on Tuesday, January 23, 2024, where they discussed the presentation expectations from the respondents of the RFQ.
