Golf Tip: Practice with Purpose
Whether it's pre-season, the heart of summer or late in the fall, there's always time to improve your game, and set yourself up for success this season and beyond. If you want to be a better golfer, you should start and end the season strong and continue working on your game in the offseason.
First, analyze your game to figure out where your weak spots are and take a lesson in this area. After the course and range close, you can continue to work on your setup and backswing in your house, yard or garage without a golf ball. This exercise is beneficial because your focus is totally on the process instead of the results or what the ball is doing. Remember that the forward swing in golf is a reaction and can only be changed through improving your setup and movements involved in the backswing. The combination of these elements put the club into a better position for the reaction forward.
