Active Work on Alder Ave. July & Aug. 2024

IVGID are continuing the ongoing replacement of aged and failing water mains throughout the District. Current work on Alder Ave is to replace approximately 1,000LF of old steel water main with new PVC mainline, add additional fire hydrants, and to decommission to existing mains where no longer viable. The work areas encompass Alder Ave from the library (west) entrance to the east of the hospital entry; a second work site will be on Northwood Blvd at the McCourry Blvd intersection where the existing water main and related appurtenances will be abandoned and removed from service. The anticipated duration is 5 weeks and began on July 8, 2024.

Thursday Farmers Market Access: 

The ideal way to access the weekly Thursday Farmers Market at the Incline Village LIbrary parking lot from 3 - 6 p.m. is via Northwood Blvd. (turn east onto Alder Ave.)
