Rental Shop Manager (7mo-Seas Mgr) NOW HIRING!
At Diamond Peak; Plans, directs & coordinates operations in the Rental/Repair Division at Diamond Peak Ski Resort & operations at the Hyatt Sports Shop. Req: College level business classes equiv. to AA degree & 4 yrs. successful ski or rec. industry exp., incl. 2 yrs. in a mgr/supv. role; or equiv. combo. Wkg. knowledge of ski/snowboard equipment, incl. safety procedures & requirements for use by staff & the public are req’d. Excellent org., mgmt., financial & cust. svc. skills, very good communication, training & decision-making skills; strong computer & math for Microsoft Office, point-of-sale & financial apps; develop & maintain effective working relationships; ski/board or snowshoe; ability to maintain composure when dealing w/irate customers; deal w/changing circumstances & schedules in a positive manner. Effectively communicate (written/in-person) w/customers, staff, vendors, reg. agencies & the public. Valid DL & Cert from Manufacturer’s of Binding Equipment or obtain prior to operating season opening. Function well in adverse weather conditions; and a work a schedule as early as 7:30am & late as 5:30pm incl. wknds/holidays. Salary: $2,340/bi-weekly DOE/DOQ w/benefits during active employment incl. health/dental/vision & short-term disability insurance, vac/sick leave, rec. & food discounts.
