Join IVGID Senior Programs for weekly light to moderate level snowshoe hikes at various locations throughout the beautiful North Tahoe area. Follow the hikes with a delicious lunch at a local eating establishment. Hikes are subject to snow conditions. Bring your own gear and make sure to dress in layers!
Details
Please bring a day pack, water, snowshoes, goggles, winter apparel, and camera.
Dates:Tuesdays, January 7 - April 29, 2025 (weather & conditions permitting)
Time: 10:00am – 2:00pm
Who: Adults 55+
- Active Adults 21+ welcome availability dependent
Location: Various locations. Meet at the back of the Recreation Center parking lot at 9:45 a.m. (980 Incline Way)
Fee per hike: $30, $25 w/ IVGID Pass (includes hike, guides, transportation and lunch)
Participants must supply their own snowshoe equipment. Contact Village Ski Loft if you need to rent snowshoes and poles.
Registration
Registration for the season opens December 30 at 9:00am. Pre-registration is required by Monday at 5:00pm. Register online, call the Parks & Recreation Counter at 775-832-1310, or register at the Recreation Center (980 Incline Way).
